Knoxville Police Arrest 18 Year In Connection To Shooting Death Of Johnson City Man

Knoxville Police have arrested an 18 year old man on charges of first degree murder in connection to the shooting death of a Johnson City man. Police arrested 18 year old Iran Lyons. Lyons is charged with shooting and killing Johnson City resident, 21 year old Rahleik Garcia on February 14. Police found Garcia suffering from a gunshot wound in a Knoxville neighborhood on Badgett Drive. Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene. The arrest was made by the Knoxville Community Engagement Response Team following an extensive investigation.
