Emory And Henry To Establish Innovative Laboratory School, With Grant Funds

Southwest Virginia’s Emory and Henry College is using part of a one hundred million dollar grant to establish the Southwest Virginia Healthcare Excellence Academy Laboratory School. The school will serve as a high school career academy for 10th through 12 graders to provide a pipeline for preparing future healthcare professionals to meet the workforce shortage in Southwest Virginia. Emory and Henry joins 12 other colleges and universities as part of Governor Glenn Youngkin’s Innovative Lab School program.
