Southwest Virginia Man Leads Police On 100 MPH, Interstate 81 Pursuit

A Lebanon Virginia man is jailed after a police pursuit that reached speeds of 100 miles per hour. Smyth County Virginia deputies tried to stop 46 year old Christopher J. Tiller in Marion around eleven pm Monday, but Tiller refused to stop and led deputies on the pursuit on Interstate 81 southbound. Tiller was finally stopped by authorities who used a pit maneuver to stop the vehicle. Tiller is charge with numerous offenses including Reckless Driving, Felony Eluding, and weapon and drug charges.
