Youngkin, Signs More Than 600 Bills That Will Become Law In July
Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin has signed more than 600 bill passed this year in the Virginia General Assembly. Among those include legislation supporting Virginians with developmental disabilities. Youngkin also signed two unusual bills. The first will pay one and a half million dollars to Michael Haas, a man who the state says was wrongfully convicted after spending more than 20 years in prison for child sexual abuse. The other provides nearly 59 thousand dollars to David Wayne Kingrea, who was found to be wrongfully convicted of indecent liberties with a minor.
