Sullivan County Schools Get Resource Officer At Each Facility

Sullivan County Commissioners have approved funding to place a police officer at every school in the county. Commissioners approved the measure Monday and will place a school resource officer at every Sullivan County school at a cost of just under one million dollars initially and an annual cost of just over 700 thousand dollars a year. The county hopes to have the officers in place in less than a year.
