Delta 8 Hemp Products Look To Be Thing Of The Past

Virginia’s General Assembly is approving new hemp regulations that will more than likely lead to the removal of synthetic CBD such as Delta-8. The changes address the amount of THC permitted in CBD and hemp products. The adjustments will also require a one thousand dollar fee for retail permits. The bills create labeling, packaging, and testing requirements for industrial hemp extracts and foods containing an industrial hemp extract as well as a ten thousand dollar civil penalty for sales without proper permitting.
