New studios for PBS Appalachia to be constructed at Hard Rock Casino and Resort in Bristol
The nation’s first all-digital public television station dedicated to Southwest Virginia will produce future content from a state-of-the-art studio constructed at the Hard Rock Casino and Resort in Bristol.
PBS Appalachia general manager Julie Newman says the partnership is perfect for community support and driving new viewers to the product.
The studios will be used for television and podcast production. PBS Appalachia will launch Saturday on PBSAVirginia.org or by accessing the network’s mobile app.
