Church Hill Police Department Selects New Police Chief
There’s a new chief in town as the Board of Mayor and Alderman voted unanimously 7-0 to approve Chad Mosely as the new Police Chief in Church Hill.
Mosely has spent his entire 24-year career in law enforcemnt with the CHPD. He’s been a sergeant with the force for the past 18 years. He replaces Mark Johnson who is resigning after a lengthy stint in the position.
It’s reported that the decision for the new police chief came down to a matter of seniority. The position was first offered to Assistant Chief Roddy Miller whom declined being comfortable in his current position.
Mosely was interviewed next who took the job. The deparmtent is now looking to fill Miller’s vacancy left by his promotion.
