UPDATE: Body found on Westin Drive identified

Bristol Virginia Police have released the identity of the man found dead just before 7:30 Wednesday morning.

The agency’s investigation division released a statement naming 27-year-old Steven Alexander McDaniel as the person discovered in the 200 block of Westin Drive.

The body remains at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Roanoke to determine the cause of death.
