One Dead In Kingsport Motorcycle Crash…Speed A Factor

It appears speed and reckless driving was a factor in a weekend motorcycle crash that kills one in Kingpsort. A motorcycle driven by Johnny D. Berry topped a hill at the intersection of Union and Greenway Streets at a high rate of speed and with the front wheel off the ground when it impacted with a car driven by Hennrietta R. Weaver. Berry was seriously injured in the crash and later died from his injuries at a local hospital. Weaver and a passenger in her vehicle were not injured. The investigation is ongoing.
