Suspect arrested after crashing through Eastman Gate 7

The Kingsport Police Department says an Erwin man is in custody after crashing through a gate at Eastman Chemical Company. Eric Wall reportedly crashed a Chevrolet Trailblazer through Eastman Chemical’s Gate 7 located on Lincoln Street at Konnarock Road. Wall allegedly then continued to drive through the Eastman property. Officers arrived and located Wall inside the vehicle and took him into custody after a short standoff. Wall is charged with multiple offenses, including driving under the influence, felony vandalism, reckless endangerment and drug charges. He was booked into the Kingsport City Jail.
