Woman Sentenced For Embezzlement Of Johnson City Credit Union

The former executive of a Johnson City credit union who stole more than one million dollars will now spend four years in prison. 49 year old Sherry Ann Allen, stole the money from the Greater Eastern Credit Union during a seven year period. The case, heard in Greeneville, showed evidence Allen used the money to fund expensive trips and luxury vehicles as well as pay for her chuch’s youth group trips abroad. Allen, must repay the money she stole.
