Rolling Roadblocks To Impact Interstate 81 North In Kingsport

Parts of Interstate 81 in Kingsport will be affected this evening as workers install road signs that will result in rolling roadblocks and lane closures. Beginning this evening at seven pm one lane of interstate 81 north will be closed at mile marker 58 near the Fort Henry Drive Exit. Following that, three rolling roadblocks will take place between mile markers 59 and 63 starting at eight pm. During the roadblocks, the on ramp to interstate 81 north from Fort Henry Drive will be closed. The roadblocks are expected to last about fifteen minutes each.
