Bays Mountain Park to renovate observation tower with grant.

Bays Mountain Park officials received a $100,000 check to help renovate the park’s observation tower. The Tennessee Department of Tourism and Development awarded this grant with the goal of attracting more people to visit the Kingsport area. The check was park of a 2.2 million dollar grant. Park officials say that this grant will help keep an iconic part of the park standing for years to come.
