Popular Johnson City Restaurant Closing

A downtown Johnson City restaurant has closed its doors unexpectedly…After four years of serving the Tri Cities, Tupelo Honey on Buffalo Street is closing. The restaurant reclaimed the one hundred year old train station as its home with a huge redevelopment project before the restaurant opened. The Asheville based eatery posted the abrupt closing on its Facebook page and said it will work to ensure a successful transition for its employees who are now without a job.
