Former insurance company executive charged with embezzlement
The former operator of the Lebanon Insurance Agency faces a total of 19 charges following her indictment by a grand jury.
A report from the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office said Jessica Ray-Pruitt was charged with 17 counts of felony and misdemeanor embezzlement and two counts of identity theft.
Local and state agencies investigated Pruitt after payments for customers were not being submitted to insurance companies. Pruitt has not been licensed by the state since July.
