TBI adds Carter County murder suspect Jim Chambers to Top 10 Most Wanted

A man was added to the TBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted list after warrants were secured for his arrest in a Carter County murder case.

The alert was posted for Jim Chambers, 37; one of two suspects accused of killing Hampton resident Edward Elliott then placing his body inside of a freezer then burying it in a remote section of the town.

Chambers is considered armed and dangerous. A $2,500 reward is being offered for any information on the whereabouts on Chambers.
