Tusculum police shutter motel after nuisance complaints

Tusculum police had windows boarded up and doors locked at a motel complex that they said presented concerns of public safety and nuisance problems.

Tenants at the Suburban / LaVilla Motel were evicted from the property and police have blocked off all access areas.

Police Chief Danny Greene said the owners will have an appearance in Chancery Court and the property’s future will be decided.
