Sheriff: Jilted girlfriends plotted Jonesborough camper fire
Investigators said two jilted girlfriends and a male accomplice are criminally charged in relation to a camper fire last month in Washington County, Tennessee.
A report from Sheriff Keith Sexton’s office said the two women identified as 23-year-old Madison Williams and 23-year-old Danielle Payne are charged with conspiracy and 21-year-old Ian Barnes was cited for arson in connection to the May 3rd incident on Clarks Cleek Road in Jonesborough.
The report said Williams told deputies that she drove to the crime scene while Barnes slashed the tires of the camper that belonged to an ex-boyfriend who dated both Williams and Payne and later started a fire inside using the window’s mini blinds.
All three will go to trial on June 26th.
