TWRA Officers Safely Remove Black Bear From Johnson City Neighborhood
A Black Bear seen roaming Johnson City neighborhoods Monday has been safely removed by officers of the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency. The good size bear, was seen in the Town Acres neighborhood in a tree. It also was seen rummaging through a trash can on Montclair Drive. There were also reports of a Black Bear in the area of Sunset and Roan Streets. The bear was tranquilized and is being relocated to the Cherokee National Forest where it will be released back into the wild.
