Gymnast with ties to Johnson City wins Paris Olympics medal
US gymnast Brody Malone, who was born in Johnson City back in 2000, was awarded a bronze medal in the men’s team all around artistic division at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
China and Japan were one and two in the competition. Malone is making a comeback from a severe leg injury last year. He captured the US championship one month ago.
Malone was 8-years-old the last time the United States Gymnastics Team medaled in the Olympics.
