Franklin Pool in Elizabethton closed for season

Elizabethton Parks and Recreation have released a statement saying that the Franklin Pool will remain closed for the remainder of the season. New equipment to be instatlled has arrived on site but a critical piece is expected to take an additional 6 weeks to arrive. The statement says the pool will reopen next season with a range of new features and improvements, including a beach entry configuration, a heater, new skimmers, and more.
