Police charge JC man with sexual exploitation of a minor

The Johnson City Police Department have arrested and charged 28 year old Brett Howington of Johnson City with aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. An investigation into the distribution of child pornography led to Howington being identified as the suspect. Investigators executed a search warrant at his residence and placed him into custody. Howington was taken to the Washington County Detention Center with the investigation still active with more charges pending.
