Sheriff: Facetime technology helped bring police to assist abused friend

Police said the friend of a domestic attack victim in Jonesborough saw the assault while she was facetiming on her smartphone.

The report said the friend called 911 after seeing the suspect, Jason Baldwin, 50, of Limestone, injure the victim who was found with blood on her hand, chest, and face.

Baldwin was arrested and charged with domestic assault.
