ESPN: McClung to attempt three-peat Slam Dunk Contest win

No player in NBA history has ever won the All Star Weekend Slam Dunk Contest three times. Gate City’s Marcus McClung wants to be the first.
Sources told ESPN that McClung plans to enter the event taking place on February 15 at San Francisco’s Chase Center.
This year’s field will be McClung’s stiffest competition to date with Chicago Bulls rookie Matas Buzelis getting an invitation, a former McDonald’s High School All American, along with Milwaukee Bucks guard Andre Jackson Jr. and San Antonio Spurs’ starter Stephon Castle.
