Man Abducted, Beaten, Robbed and Left in Abandoned House

Three people are charged in Scott County after they were accused of beating a man and robbing him of cash and prescription medication.

The victim reported that he was picked up in Kingsport by the suspects who told him they were going to a friend’s house. However, they took him to an abandoned house in Yuma where they attacked him and robbed him of his cash and pills.

The victim managed to leave the old house and head to a neighboring home where he called 9-1-1. Authorities have obtained 19 warrants for the three suspects. Including strangulation, assault, and robbery.

The victim sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.
He has been released from the hospital.
