Animal Shelter To Remain Closed Till Next Week

If no new cases of Parvo Virus turn up, the Washington County/Johnson City Animal Shelter is expected to reopen next Wednesday. The shelter has been closed since last Tuesday when the first case of Parvo Virus in a dog showed up. Since that time six more cases have been found at the shelter. The shelter must now wait ten days after the last confirmed case of the virus before it can reopen.
