ETSU Releases Poll Ahead 2018 Midterm Election

Next Tuesday, November 6th is election day and some key public offices are up for grabs in Tennessee.

A poll conducted by ETSU has the two candidates for the U.S. Senate seat between Republican Marsha Blacburn and Democrat Phil Bredesen in Tennessee tied at 44 percent.

The poll shows Republican Bill Lee leading Democrat Karl Dean by double digits.

Early voting has been higher than in the 2014 midterm election. When asked if they were likely to vote in this years election 8 out 10 Tennesseans said they are very likely or at least likely to cast a ballot.
