Five Plead Guilty In Southwest Virginia Drug Ring Operation
Five individuals have pleaded guilty in southwest Virginia to drug charges in a drug ring that focused on individuals who receive government assistance. The drug operation stretched from Georgia to Southwest Virginia. The suppliers of the drugs would travel to the area on the first and third of each month when those buying the drugs received their government and state subsistence checks. Methamphetamine, Xanax and Oxycodone were sold and distributed into Lee, Wise and Scott Counties.
