JCPD Arrest Man Found with 100+ Grams of Marijuana and Small Amount of Heroin

The Johnson City Police Department has arrested a man on drug charges after they responded to the scene of a improperly parked vehicle at the 500 block of Washington Ave.

20-year-old Tyler Legg was found passed out inside the vehicle. Officers made contact with Legg, after he was seen by medical personnel. .

He admitted to having marijuana inside the trunk of the car. A search revealed 102 grams of marijuana, several items of drug paraphernalia. A search of Legg’s person found a small container that was identified as heroin.

Legg admitted to driving to the scene. He was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held on a $15,000 bond.
