Pedestrian Hit And Killed In Washington County, Virginia

A pedestrian is dead in Washington County, Virginia after being hit by a vehicle Tuesday night. Virginia State Police say the pedestrian, whose name has not yet been released was struck by a vehicle in the 18 thousand block of Lee Highway around seven fifteen Tuesday evening. A 2015 GMC Yukon was traveling north on Lee Highway when it struck the pedestrian who was walking along the white line of the right northbound lane. The driver of the Yukon was not injured in the accident.
