Officer Injured During Officer Involved Shooting Released From Hospital
A Bristol Tennessee Police Officer injured recently in an officer involved shooting is released from a hospital, while the man shot in that incident remains hospitalized. Bristol Police were attempting to serve a warrant on 43 year old Eric Crawford at a residence on Georgia Avenue when Crawford threatened officers with an ax. That’s when an officer fired his duty weapon hitting Crawford twice causing serious injuries. The officer was injured in the leg. The incident is being investigated by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
