Bristol Tire Dump Operator Fined Nearly A Half Million Dollars By TDEC

The owner of a one hundred acre tract of land in Bristol, Tennessee, used for tire dumping operations has been fined nearly a half million dollars. Ted Cox, listed by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation as the owner of RRI VT Bristol LLC, located on Vance Tank Road, is also ordered to remove 33 thousand tires from the property in thirty days…all tires must be removed within the year or the operations will be subject to further liability. The company has received multiple violations since 2012.
