More Gruesome Testimony in Day Three Of Triple Murder Trial In Blountville

Jurors in Blountville heard a third day of sometimes graphic and disturbing testimony in the triple murder trial for Robert Denton…who’s accused of brutally shooting and killing his grandmother, mother and stepfather in their Henson Road home in Sullivan County in 2015. A nurse who treated two of the six children who were in the home at the time of murders testified one of the girls had bone fragments in her leg from another person.A neighbor also told the jury Denton showed up at her doorstep bleeding from a gunshot wound that’s believed to have come from a gun shot by Denton’s grandfather, Curtis Rose. Rose told the jury he shot Denton after Denton had just shot and killed his wife. The continues in Blountville and could last up to two weeks.
