Police Find Body in South Holston Lake

Police are investigating the discovery of a body found in South Holston Lake. Washington County, Virginia authorities say someone found the body around two oclock Tuesday afternoon in the Alvarado Station area.

The identity of the person has not been released at this time and the body is being sent to the state Medical Examiners office for an autopsy.
