Johnson Man Arrested on Charges of Selling Crack Cocaine to Undercover Law Enforcement
A man is behind bars after a four year investigation into the distribution of crack cocaine in Johnson City.
Investigators and the Johnson City Police Department SWAT Team executed a search warrant Tuesday at the home of suspect Thomas Lumpkin, 44. They found a firearm and drugs inside the residence, and Lumpkin was arrested.
The suspect is part of an investigation that began in 2014, and during this time, Lumpkin allegedly sold quantities of crack cocaine twice to individuals working undercover with law enforcement.
Lumpkin is facing numerous charges including two counts of selling crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine for resale, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
As a result of the search, additional arrests are expected.
