Weekend Crash In Scott County Leaves One Dead, One Seriously Injured

One person is dead following a weekend traffic crash in Scott County Virginia. Virginia State Police say 69 year old Jimmy Ray Culbertson of Nicklesville, Virginia was killed when his pickup truck he was driving east on Route 71 crossed the center line and struck a westbound pickup truck driven by 27 year old Maynard L. Hall of Lebanon Virginia. Hall was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The crash is under investigation.
