UPDATE: VSP Identify Victims in Sunday Morning Shooting in Lee County

Two people found dead with gunshot wounds inside a car in Lee County early Sunday have been identified as Bailey S. Smith, 21, and Emeri A. Connery, 26.

Virginia State Police confirm the two individuals were found dead inside the vehicle on Route 23 around 4:00 A.M Sunday. Autopsies are being performed to determine the cause of death and the investigation continues.
