Mountain City Mayor Now Has Court Date For Obstruction Of Justice Case
Mountain City Tennessee Mayor Kevin Parsons now has a court date for April 10th on charges of obstruction of justice. Parsons was pulled over for speeding back in December of last year. Johnson County Sheriff Ed Tester says authorities suspected a passenger in Parson’s car was Parson’s Brother in Law, Kevin Cornett. Cornett had outstanding warrants for his arrest at the time of incident. Mayor Parsons initially told authorities the man was a friend, but later admitted it was his brother in law. Cornett was taken into custody and Parson’s was charged with obstruction of justice.
