Bristol Leaders Moving Forward With Plans For Cannabis Oil Production Facility

Bristol, Tennessee leaders are moving forward with a pharmaceutical company’s plans to build a cannabis oil production facility in Bristol. By a unanimous vote, planning commissioners approved to special exception applications for Dharma Pharmaceuticals. The company wants to build a cannabis oil production facility and retail pharmacy in either the JC Penny and drug store spaces or a parcel of land adjacent to the mall parking lot. A public hearing on the matter is tentatively set for April 23.
