Virginian’s Soon to Have Access to CBD and THC with Doctor’s Recommendation
Virginian’s will soon have access to THC-A and CBD oil at dispensaries throughout the state with a doctor’s recommendation.
The Virginia Board of Pharmacy has approved five companies, one for each of the commonwealth’s five service areas, to open the dispensaries.
Dharma Pharmaceuticals will be opening a dispensary in Bristol, to help cover Southwest Virginia which falls under Health Service Area III. Dharma is an international producer of medications for hepatitis, cancer and other diseases.
Each dispensary submitted an initial $10,000 application fee. The permit fee is $60,000 and a dispensary must pay an additional $10,000 per year to renew it’s license
