Hawkins Businessman Arrested On Tax Evasion And Theft
A special investigations Section of the Tennessee Department of Revenue have arrested a Hawkins County Businessman in a tax evasion and theft case. 64 year old Philip Keith Henard is arrested and indicted on four Class E felony counts of sales tax evasion and one Class C felony count of theft of property over ten thousand dollars. Henard, who managed a Hawkins County home center could be sentenced to a maximum of two years in prison and fined up to three thousand dollars for each count of tax evasion and could face a maximum six years and a ten thousand dollar fine for the theft if found guilty.
