Authorities Discover And Identify Woman Dead In Vehicle After Disturbance

A thirty year old Tazewell County Virgnia woman has been identified as the person authorities discovered not breathing with no pulse in a car in Dickinson County Virginia. The body of April Dunford of Tazewell County was found after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance at the Lower Twin campground over the weekend. Reports of a woman screaming as she left the campground with a suspect were reported to 911. A male subject told police his girlfriend had just jumped out of his vehicle and was bleeding and indicated he was taking her to the hospital. Police later found the vehicle matching the description from the campground and Dunford was found deceased inside the vehicle.
