Two Local Women Dead Following Motorcycle, Pickup Truck Crash

Two Hawkins County women are dead after being involved in a crash between a dirt bike and a pickup truck on Carters Valley Road. The THP says 28 year old Mavis T. Feagins of Church Hill and 28 year old Heather N. Braswell of Surgoinsville were both killed when a Dodge Dakota Pickup truck was traveling north when a Honda Dirt Bike the two women were on pulled out in front of the truck resulting in the deadly crash. The two passengers in the truck were not injured. Feagins and Braswell were not wearing helmets during the accident.
