Eastman Chemical Company Plans to Acquire INACSA

Eastman Chemical Company has entered into an agreement to acquire a cellulosic yarn producer in Spain.

The company announced Wednesday that the agreement is with Industrias del Acetato de Celulosa S.A, or INACSA. This acquisition helps Eastman continue to grow the fiber market apparel, and part of the proposal is to also acquire INACSA’s plant in Spain.

This acquisition is expected to be complete in the third quarter of this year.
