Bristol Amateur Radio Club to Host Amateur Radio Field Day This Weekend
The Bristol Amateur Radio Club is participating in this weekend’s Amateur Radio Field Day.
The field day is part of the single biggest gathering of amateur radio across the United States and Canada, and part of what the club will be doing is to demonstrate the use of ham radio and how it can be used to be a primary form of communication when other systems become unavailable. The two day event begins tomorrow at 2 P.M at Whitetop Creek Park and goes through Sunday.
The public is invited, and to learn more about the event, visit the Bristol Amateur Radio Club Facebook Page or contact Ben Morris at (276)-791-0102.
