Three Arrested and Charged in 18-Month B&E Investigation in Washington Co., VA
Three people are charged in an 18 month breaking and entering investigation in Washington County, VA involving numerous items being stolen.
According to Washington County Sheriff Fred Newman, last January deputies responded to a residence on a call of breaking and entering in Meadowview. An initial investigation found a number of items taken from the property valued up to $24,000. Some of the items include a zero turn lawn mower, riding lawn mower, pressure washer, and a generator.
After a year and a half of investigative work, police have charged Kimberly Michelle Powers, 40, Jessie Wade Wyatt, 42, and Wayne Allen Smith, 45, in the case. All three face a number of charges including felony breaking and entering. Police say some stolen items have been located.
