Body Found In Holston River Identified As Church Hill Man

The body of man found in the Holston River in Hawkins County nearly two weeks ago has now been identified by local authorities. According to a news release, Hawkins County Sheriff Ronnie Lawson says 51 year old Randy D. Benton of Church Hill was found lodged under a tree by a man fishing. The initial investigation revealed no visible blunt trauma, but autopsy results are still pending.
