Added Police Protection…At Abingdon High School For Unsubstantiated Threat

Authorities in Abingdon Virginia say the threat is unsubstantiated, but there will be an added presence of law enforcment on the campus of Abingdon High School Monday, after another school threat circulates through town. The source of the threat was identified as a juvenile, but investigators deemed the threat as unfounded. Police say there is no threat to Abingdon High School and the added police protection is simply a precaution. The investigation is continuing.
