Several Counties In Southwest Virginia Receive Low Overall Health Rankings
Seven localities in Southwest Virginia have shown up at the bottom portion of a statewide ranking of Virginia’s overall health when looking at clinical care issues. The study conducted by the Robert Woods Johnson Foundation and released by County Health Rankings and Roadmaps lists counties from one to 133 for overall health when examining clinical care. Buchanan, Lee, Russell, Tazewell, Dickenson, Wise and the city of Bristol all ranked near the bottom of the list when looking at overall health in relation to clinical care in the region.
